We offer complete care for your mare and/or foal while being bred. Board is $4.00/day
in a separate paddock and stalled as needed. We have rubber
fencing with hot wire on the inside and its safety has been proven over the last
20 years. Insurance on a mare is the owners responsibility, however we will do
everything in our power to protect your valuable investment.
The breeding fee for the 2006 season will be $1000 for registered Arabians. This
includes a non-refundable $100 booking fee and live foal guarantee. All mares
are required to be in sound breeding health (good weight/not sick), current on
all shots and have a negative Coggins. Mares without foals or maiden mares need
to have a clean, negative uterine culture.
We recommend pregnancy checking @ 18 days in order to not miss the next heat and again at thirty days to check for twins. This can be done by our farm vet who specializes only in equine reproduction.
